Today's activity was awesome , we were able to visit and feed the Malnourished children at Natasha Ward Mbarara Regional Ref-feral Hospital , we are glad for what this Staff at the ward is doing , several children were brought in the ward , but with the tireless efforts of the nurses , they have been able to make a difference these , Children's lives , however there are many more children out there in the villages , dying of malnutrition , who do not even have means to bring them to the hospital due to economic failures.
we appeal to all members of our communities , to develop a spirit of concern and responsibility to accord any assistance to such children in all communities to access this help , these children are our future important citizens , if we don't do anything to help them now , then we will be compromising the development of our nations. Natasha ward still faces a challenge of lack of sensitization and community outreach team to make a follow up on the discharged children and guide parents on how best they could feed their children , as well as run small scale income generating projects to help them buy some of the food for their children .
The need is still very big at this Nutrition center . However we have been able to put a smile on these children's faces this Easter season , we would like to thank , everyone who contributed towards the success of this campaign , including Centenary bank Uganda, GBK diary corporation , The dean of students Mbarara University of Science and Technology , VISION MEDIA GROUP - RADIO WEST& TV WEST , Good Volunteers club, and Mbarara University Student Volunteers.
